I recently purchased an iPhone XS. I upgraded from a 6s so this was a big jump in technology but also meant I needed a new case. I mention this because I haven’t been in the “case” market in years; I was shocked to find that there did not seem to be a single wallet case, regardless of price, that could do all of the following:1. hold 3+ credit cards, driver’s license, etc2. hold cash3. securely hold the phone in the case4. easily remove the phone w/ the protector from the rest of the case5. cover the front & back of the phone when desired6. allow photography w/o the case getting in the way7. allow wireless charging without removing the phone from the protector.Maybe I found this so surprising because I hadn’t looked at cases in a while but with wireless charging on the market for 2+ years I expected to find many cases that could do all of the above. After reviewing hundreds of them and ordering 9 different cases to try, every case failed in at least 1 of these categories. The biggest (and most obvious) issue is that every other case I’ve seen either uses magnets to hold the phone protector inside the case, which prevents wireless charging, or the phone protector is permanently attached, making photography difficult/impossible and the case bulky for the times you don’t want it to be.Until this one. These guys solved ALL of these problems with a new, AMAZING technology: they sewed in an additional flap of leather to the case. Truly.With a simple flap of leather they removed the need for heavy-duty magnets in the case or for the protector being permanently attached. The protector itself has a credit-card sized flap on the back that serves a dual purpose. If you want the phone to be fully protected & have your full wallet with you, the additional flap on the case slides in to the flap on the protector, ensuring the phone cannot fall out of the case. If you want to only grab your phone, credit card & license they all fit comfortably in the back of the protector in the same flap used to otherwise attach the protector to the full case. Ta-da!Now, that leaves one issue. In order to charge the phone wirelessly there can’t be a large gap between the charger & the phone, nor can it charge “through” a credit card. The obvious solution is to leave your cash/cards in the wallet while removing the phone/protector to place on the wireless charger. But that still means removing the phone/protector every day. I’m looking for complete simplicity, especially out of an expensive case.So here’s the kicker: if you leave the phone/protector attached to the case via the flap, it can fold out of the case enough to set the whole wallet on a wireless charging stand. This means you can leave everything in the wallet as-is and still have the convenience of wireless charging!So, a single solution to all of these issues. And, if you’re in to such things (I am), you get the added bonus of new, real-leather smell. Ahhhhhhhh.Love this! I can rid my wallet and just use this. my work access fits neatly in since I care phone everywhere I go - it works. Not much bulk for me. Like others wish there was thin cover over credit card area.I now don’t have wallet in my small pocket books. Might be too much for pant pockets tho. It’s easy to pop out of of slide and as well as protected. Leather is soft well made! I’m glad to have rfid protection too. One item with keys and lipstick. Perfect for me :-). Note- it’s not crash proof! I have a great glass protector that saved my phone. If you are rough on phone / consider military grade like otter box or bodyguardz.Husband order the wrong size but it would have work.GOOD LOOKING AND PRACTICAL!
