Don't expect this to work with a wallet...Once you put it in the wallet and close it, it goes off as disconnected before you even put the wallet in your pocket...I have no idea what's the point to get this. Not useful at allWe put one in two pieces of luggage on a recent flight. Setup was easy and the phone app recognized them right away. Since we're using them in luggage, we just use the mode without alarms. I will say when I tested the alarm, its surprisingly loud given the size of the tracker...Upon using them, I thought they were a little inconsistent. For example, when I had the two suitcases sitting across the room from me, one tracker said it was 1-3 meters away and the other 10-20. Neither was correct, but at least the app could see them. I took a look on the plane; one of the trackers showed as online, the other not. Of course, the two suitcases could have been far away from each other; no way to tell. I did "see" at least one of the suitcases just before it arrived at the baggage claim, which is kind of neat....One thing to remember is that these are Bluetooth based, not GPS, so if you're not within a relatively short range, you're not going to see where your bag is. So if you're in Miami, you're not going to see that your bag landed in Los Angeles. There is a 'declare lost' function in the app where someone else with the Nut app might be able to locate your bag if they happen to have the Nut app, but I'm not sure what the effectiveness of that might be....Probably a more useful function for these would be to keep on a keychain to find keys in your house, etc....Overall, I'm pleased with these so far; just don't expect too much from them.This is a tracker device cheaper than its competitors and yet it serves the purpose. The device is small and light. It looks nice and the app looks straightforward and easy to use.One reviewer complained that it does not work with wallets. I tried with my wallet and it works fine. I guess the possible reason for this is that the wallet could be an RF tag shielding wallet to provide security for your cards with RF tags. That kind of wallet can block the Bluetooth signal easily so of course you can't use the Nut mini devices with those wallets.I use an Android cellphone and the app works fine. Yet at one time the app couldn't make the tracker give alert sound even if the app showed the tracker devices were nearby. I had to restart the app to make the tracker work again.One device stopped working one day after I put it into my wallet. I contacted the merchant and they responded very quickly and sent me a new box with 4 devices.Pros:1. Devices are small, light and look great;2. App is easy to use;3. Excellent customer service;4. Cheaper than competitor products.Cons:1. Buggy app;2. One device stopped working.Like AirTags, these little tags are awesome to assist in finding your things, whatever it may be attached to. Unlike AirTags with its large network of Apple devices, Nuts don't have the userbase to make these as useful if your device is out of bluetooth range. Even if there were more users, the range can be quite limited if the tag is inside a device.Pros:+ relatively small+ lanyard hole for easy attachment+ mostly easy setup+ plugin for wechat+ speaker is louder than I expected+ useable to find phone: double-click button on Nut rings phone (if all permissions previously granted)Cons/improvements:- limited userbase translates to small 'findmy' network- required manually setting a bunch of permissions- bluetooth range seems less than described- wechat plugin is only in chineseUnknown:? battery life: ideally it'll be longer than 6mo, but only time will tellThese trackers work well, because they are small and compact, and fits into your wallet/purse/handbags and pockets, to keep track of all your personal belongings and basics essentials. The app is easy to download and set up, quickly paired with these trackers.However, these are not the best kind of tracker, because it only has very basic features, but it does its job, to serve the basic need, of keeping track of your personal things, so you don't lose them. The audio/alarm isn't very loud either, and it is fixed and not adjustable. The app is a bit glitchy and buggy, so perhaps that is an area to be improved on as well. These trackers do look sleek and modern, however. I am not sure aout the battery life yet, but hopefully, it should last as expected.I love how many you get in a pack and how small/lightweight each one is. I was able to set some of these up and pair them with the app on my mom's iphone without issues. However I had more trouble with my Android- the app didn't seem very compatible, and once set up the key fob kept ringing my phone for no apparent reason. These are definitely worth a shot if you're going to be pairing these with an Apple product, but if you have any other softwares then I would opt for a different brand of finder chip.This finder was easy to connect to my phone. I put one on my key ring and gave my wife one to put on hers. I have 2 left of the 4 pack and plan on setting up my stepson with one since he will be getting a key to the house soon. One thing I would recommend is using something other than the elastic string that comes with it to attach to your keys with. Also, one thing that some other brands have over this, is that you can push the finder and have your phone ring. There are also communities when you can post a lost item so other users can let you know if they find them. This does not seem to have either of those features going for it, but it does work, and is easy to connect.
