I received my new carbon fiber color metal "slim" wallet and realized I was not prepared for this. Of course like any good husband, it is my responsibility to carry the cards, id's, money, gift cards, punch cards for free coffee, coins, coats, phones, and everything else my wife can toss my way. So for those of you that don't know, women's clothes either have fake pockets or some form of a slit where 2 quarters won't fit. Therefore, it is my responsibility to carry EVERYTHING for her and the family. Making carrying my old wallet like trying to stuff WALLE in your pocket. Try sitting with it in your back pocket and you basically are sitting on a rock trying to stab its way through butt cheek.I bought this sleek and cool looking slim wallet because its slim and looks highspeed.......why wouldn't I. However, I found that slim is really relative term dependent upon you having 1 card in the front and maybe 3-5 in the main section. Which by the way, you want to look at the diagram and have an engineering degree to figure out how to open it initially.......already sent a letter to my university to get my money back because it took me 15 mins to open it and I looked like 2 male models trying to get into a computer while hiding my secret weapon Bluesteel! After figuring out there are convenient pictures on the packaging, and feeling dumb for throwing them away, I was able to begin inserting all my cards in the wallet. Well.....apparently, this wallet was not made for me because I stretched the elastic bands like a pair of cheetah print yoga pants on "healthy" girl.It became apparent that the only option was to divide my cards into stay in the car cards, carry everyday cards, and wife's responsibility cards. Everything seemed to be going good, wallet looked good, it was slim (kinda), and fit in my front pocket very easily until I handed my wife her cards.....This is where we realized there was a problem. My wife who has beautiful handbags, wallets, and phone holders cant seem to find a way to carry her cards anywhere. I think there is a design flaw in women's accessories and clothes because a single card wont fit in her pockets, her handbags are too bulky to carry, the wallets are too odd to hold, and the phone is already in my pocket unless she needs it. It is basically impossible for women to carry a single card or id. Where are the feminist marches for this problem? This is an atrocity that needs a super Karen to handle. Where's the MANAGER?!?!?!?!While the wallet is amazingly inventive and very good looking, it creates a dilemma for men who have a woman in their life. You can either carry a large trifold wallet and deal with a jousting match on your butt every time you sit down, you can pay for every pair of pants your wife owns to be altered for new pockets, buy more handbags and wallets she will "totally" carry, or you can leave all your excess baggage at home. I chose the last option and honestly, leaving her at home was the best option ever. Thanks Wallet for Men!After looking over these minimalist wallets on Amazon I’ve decided this kind and this particular brand was for me for the following reasons:1. My chiropractor informed me that sitting on a thick wallet would throw my hips out of balance.2. I frequently have to scan a barcoded ID at work to use equipment.3. I really don’t need a file cabinet in my back pocket.4. I don’t carry much cash. The cards were narrowed down to only the most frequently used and the store reward cards were placed in an old accordion style wallet in my vehicle to be used as needed. Personally it’s just easier to scan my ID in the wallet than the one on my armband. The thumb notch to push out the cards could have been centered since the cards come out on an angle but I’ll deal with it. Not bigger than a deck of cards (thickness depends on the individual) and generally it works for me.I went and bought this under the idea that it would last very long considering the price but I've had it for some months now and this still feels like the first month after broke in the elastic bands that hold everything together. The RFiD blocking is as functional as day one for all my cards in the main compartment but still allows for the ID slot to be tapped, which is exactly what I need for work everyday. Honestly considering buying a 2nd just in case this falls apart way in the future.I bought this with a different brand in mind. Now that brand was a $120 wallet that looks just like this one but that wallet didn't have the ID clear slot on it. Which is an awesome feature. I bought it expecting a huge difference in quality and I was surprised at how nice this one is. The carbon fiber is obviously not the real stuff but it's a wallet. Who really sees it other than you? If this thing lasted a month I'd be happy but it's been a few months and it still looks new. I will buy more of them just for the variety. You'll love it the same as I do. Save your money on those over priced things. They're not different enough to justify an extra $100!So, in the past, I've been accused of having a "George Castanza wallet". I like my leather three-fold, but it is a pain carrying around all the card sleeves to stop RFID scans. Makes carrying my everyday cards a bulky affair.A friend of mine had one of these. After seeing it up close, I decided I should try one out. The particular one he had was probably 5x's what I paid, and I wonder now if that makes a difference somewhere. To be clear, this isn't a bad choice by any means. When I go on vacation I'll probably use this the most, since I don't carry EVERY card with me around. So lightweight it's easy to forget it's there. And to be fair, I haven't yet tried to see how many cards it can fit, but it seems like it holds a good amount.I guess my biggest reservation is what another review mentioned: the cards themselves seem to be subject to a real beating when using this, especially if you take them out often. Hopefully it never damages the chip, but it seems like the face of the card, and possibly the strip, could be worn down over a short time.If this proves to be a non tissue I'll update my review, maybe even going 5-star. For the price (sub-$25 in mid 2022), it's a nice gift and good alternative. I'll keep my trusty leather folder, but this is cool to have. Lots of great designs too, try it out and have fun.I read some of the cons about clip breaking and license falling out. I have NOT experienced those issues, or any issues yet, for that matter. If you have a single bill, the clip doesn't hold it well unless folded extra times. License stays put, 7 cards of varying thickness. Tested RFID using a number of ways and my cards weren't able to be read.Nice and compact and looks stylish. Holds my UK drivers licence card nicely in the clear window part. Plenty of space In between the sandwich type elasticated card holder for quite a few cards or folded cash notes. There's a metal lanyard attachment at one end and belt clip. I opted for the carbon fibre black one. Really happy with this purchase. I would recommend it.I have owned at least 5 out the most popular RIF ID wallets in the market (among expensive ones) and this one by far beats them all!- I can use my Magnetic access pass for work without taking it out- Very nice and durable metal material - Just feels amazing in your hand- Clip with not tear up your pocket as it has no sharp edges and does not stick out like other clips in market- Clip area is wide to allow all type of sling, lanyards and badge hilders to work with it- Taking out cards is simple due to the grove to puch cards out- Design is way more sofisticated than the best out there- Is not bulky and i have at least 13 cardsGot it for my husband. It's good quality and is compact, but he says it's annoying to get the cards out.The one thing I like about this wallet is that it has a clear slot for picture ID, you don't have to take it out all the time.Me gusto mucho que pudiera tener la opción de colocar una identificación visible… el clip para los billetes se vence y luego de un tiempo. Por eso no lo uso para colocar los billetes
