Good zippers and machine washable.It is a little loud when walking but it isn't a big deal, not taking away a star for it.Got this on sale and just what I was looking for. Make sure you order size up as it runs a little tight. Gonna get some red zipper pulls for contrast. Quality vest!Great quality and cuts the windFits as indicated, a medium fits medium and so forth. Looks great, feels great. Great layer for mild chilly weather.This is the most versatile vest I have ever owned and it keeps you warm even at 42 degrees and raining on the Appalachian Trail in Great Barrington, MA.Super quality, looks really smart but found the large too tight across my shoulders and back, not just in a fitted way, it uncomfortably cut in as I moved my arms, and there'd be no chance of fitting a fleece underneath. I'm 6' tall, 95KG, 43 inch chest, 34/36 waist (this area fits no problem) and lift weights 2-3 times a week, if that sounds like you I'd recommend the XL.Lightweight and well-fitting. As a thin outer layer the idea is you'd wear a fleece or something warm underneath in cold weather for most of the insulation and this for extra wind/rain-proofing, but I've found it great for Autumn when the weather fluctuates between warm and cold (probably find it great for Spring too for the same reason).It is a good, stylish gilet. Not perfect for all weathers, probably only rates ‘decent’ in terms of warmth, but a very nice addition to your wardrobeTo me seems totally original HH, size teeny bit small for me but kind of wanted a snugger fit for this type of vest/gilet. Pleased.The Helly Hansen website suggests this is fully lined with polar fleece not just the collar. But when this arrived, it is only the collar that is fleece-lined. This one has a mesh lining. It's probably great for summer sailing but if you're looking for more of a 3-season, I'd look elsewhere - or get a larger size so you can wear a fleece under it.
